Bill Gates has officially stepped down from the Microsoft board to focus more on Philanthropy activities.
Gates has also left the board of Warren Buffett’s massive holding company, Berkshire Hathaway.
Announcing his latest move, Mr Gates said the company would “always be an important part of my life’s work” and he would continue to be engaged with its leadership.
The $103.6bn businessman made his fortune by developing software for the personal computer for public band professional buyers.
